The First Year Builders Warranty After move in, Barry and the customer during a walk through of the home generate a punch list. A copy is given to the owner to check off items as completed. As much time as is needed is spent with the office to coordinate the work to be done. The office staff will also monitor the progress on these items toward a timely completion. Barry provides a one (1) year warranty for your new home. At the end of the year, We will contact you to schedule any work needed to be done. Of course, the customer is encouraged to call with any problems, concerns, or questions they may have during the year. The Ten Year Home Buyers Warranty The buyer is also provided with a ten (10) year warranty from Home Buyers Warranty VI. Home Buyers Warranty VI is a limited warranty program developed specifically for Florida homes and Florida homebuyers. The limited warranty is designed to provide comprehensive protection against structure failures and workmanship and material defects in the home. An HBW VI new home warranty is one of the most complete and extensive warranties available in the state. The warranty provides homebuyers with protection against structural defects for a full ten (10) years from the day of closing. The warranty also provides coverage for the homes major systems for two (2) years, and the workmanship and materials used in the home’s construction for one (1) year. An HBW VI new-home warranty stays with the home for the entire ten (10) years regardless of how many times the home changes hands. The warranty can add to the resale value and prove to be an important sales feature should you decide to sell your home.
