Before You Build.....
One of the most important parts of
the building process is the Poimboeuf Homes, Inc. building method. We
take the time to learn about you, your family, and your habits. We want
to know what you need in your new home and how the design, construction
methods, and details will best compliment your interests and lifestyle.
Whether you already know exactly
what you want or you need to call on our expertise and advice to help
you determine your needs, we are committed to work with you every step
of the way to make sure your new home is just what you had in mind.
As with most any project, proper
planning goes a long way toward pre-ordained success. If, for example,
you select one of our fine floor plans, we will sit with you and revise
the drawing to suit your family. This is a process that shouldn’t be
rushed and often involves many revisions and fine-tuning. We know from
experience that, properly done, this procedure is vitally important to
the quality of your finished home.
Once we have worked through all of
the details, we will prepare a price quote for you that will build
exactly the home you want – within your budget and on time.
Allowances…
Typically allowances work to the
builder’s advantage and not the homeowner’s. Allowances are usually
quoted as a "fixed standard" and any selections by the
homeowner are charged in addition to the quoted price. At Poimboeuf
Homes, Inc. we receive your input and ask all the proper questions. The
"carpet allowance" for example, is not set at an arbitrary
"$15.00/yd". Instead, we ask about your preferences, determine
your wants and needs, and, together, we agree on an allowance that will
provide those needs. The benefit to you is that you don’t have to
worry about exceeding your "allowance". They were, after all,
set with your input and desires in mind. In this way, you can be assured
that the quoted price of you new home will truly build your dream.
Before you chose
the builder of your new home…
Can your builder answer all these
questions with a "YES"?
- Are my allowances sufficient to
build the home I want?
- Is my price firm?
- Have I been informed of any
unexpected expenses that may occur?
- Will you be receptive to
changes and improvements during the construction?
- Can I expect your best effort
in every aspect of my home’s construction?
If they cannot answer
"yes" to each of these questions, then you need to contact us!
